01 / The experience
Phillip Island wildlife & Penguin Parade.
Meet wildlife at Moonlit Sanctuary, explore the Nobbies coast and watch little penguins return at dusk, with Melbourne coach transfers.
Start with Brighton’s bathing boxes before travelling to Moonlit Sanctuary for Australian wildlife and a guided walk. Continue to the Nobbies for rocky coast and Bass Strait views, then finish at the Penguin Parade, where little penguins return from the sea after sunset. The tour combines wildlife and coastline, with included Penguin Parade admission.
Take a warm layer for the outdoor evening wait, even on a hot day. Photography and filming are prohibited during the Penguin Parade, including phones and flash-free cameras. Meals are extra: the operator uses a Cowes dinner stop in summer and the parade cafeteria in winter. Paid viewing upgrades and optional animal encounters depend on availability; choose them during booking rather than assuming they come with the base fare.
Melbourne pickups fall between 10:00 and 12:00, and return is approximately 21:00–00:15 depending on season. January’s later sunset makes the late end of that window particularly relevant. Keep the evening clear and arrange your last journey from the city drop-off to your hotel. This tour does not visit the Grand Prix Circuit or include karting; those require a separate island plan.
