Rockpool Bar & Grill
Australian beef, seafood and a wood-fired kitchen make Rockpool a substantial Southbank dinner.
01 / The experience
Set aside an evening for the grill.
Australian beef, seafood and a wood-fired kitchen make Rockpool a substantial Southbank dinner.
Make Rockpool Bar & Grill your steakhouse evening during a full Melbourne stay. The Melbourne restaurant pairs a large dining room and open kitchen with Australian beef and seafood. Choose your cut with the table’s appetite and budget in mind: premium beef, sharing cuts, sides and wine can change the total considerably.
A Southbank hotel makes the return after dinner straightforward, while a CBD or St Kilda base needs a separate journey. Lunch is another option on a day devoted to Melbourne rather than the circuit. If you choose dinner after racing, allow time to leave your actual gate and find the restaurant inside Crown before your reservation.
Check the current steak weights, preparation and prices before ordering. Let the restaurant know about dietary requirements, confirm the booking’s cancellation terms and ask about the dining-room arrival route if access is important. A shorter bar-menu visit and a full dining-room meal are different choices; book the experience you want.
