The Fitzroy warehouse branch for laminated pastries and coffee; arrive early and allow for the queue.
Lune’s Fitzroy branch turns a pastry stop into a visit to a working warehouse. Inside, the glass-walled pastry lab sits within an exposed-brick space, while the counter offers laminated croissants and other bakes with coffee. This guide is for Rose Street, where you can see that setting, rather than treating every Lune shop as the same visit.
Start with a classic croissant or choose from the current counter selection. The branch menu also lists filled and twice-baked pastries, but specials change and popular choices can run out. Give the queue its own space in your morning. A leisurely Fitzroy visit works better than arriving with only a few minutes before you need to leave for Albert Park.
Counter service and Lune Lab have different arrangements. You can walk in for a pastry; the Lab is a separate booked and prepaid experience. The shop is cashless and closes when stock runs out, even before its listed closing time. Its pastry range contains gluten, dairy and eggs, with nuts used in the kitchen, so check the dietary guidance before making it your group’s breakfast destination.
