Ace Karts
A 700-metre outdoor circuit in Albion, with timed Arrive & Drive sessions, junior karts and a two-seat option.
01 / The experience
Outdoor laps and a choice of karts in Albion.
Try the 700-metre outdoor circuit with timed laps, or choose a family session that includes a junior Rookie Kart.
Make Ace Karts a separate outing to Melbourne's western suburbs. Its 700-metre outdoor circuit has seven corners and a long straight, giving you more room to build speed and settle into a lap than a compact indoor course. Arrive & Drive is the simplest format: book one, two or three 10-minute races and compare lap times after driving. A single race costs A$49 on weekdays or A$55 at weekends.
Leave about 75 minutes onsite for one race, including the required 45-minute check-in period for waivers, equipment and the briefing. The track is floodlit, so a later session is another option within the venue's opening hours. Racing normally continues in rain; bring clothing suitable for the weather, closed shoes and a card, as the venue is cashless.
Families have separate kart choices. Rookie Karts are for ages 6–11 with a minimum height of 120 cm. Family sessions must include a Rookie driver and list fares of A$55 for that age group and A$75 for ages 12+. Confirm the family session's booked duration when selecting tickets. Super Karts require drivers aged 16+ and at least 145 cm; call about a suitable kart for ages 12–15 before paying. Younger passengers aged 4+ can use a two-seat kart with an adult driver, subject to availability and safe fit. An adult must remain onsite with every under-18 driver.
