01 / The experience
Texas State Capitol
Choose a guided introduction to Texas government and the building, or allow a quieter self-guided visit around your other plans. A tour takes about 40 minutes; leave extra time for entering the building and finding the meeting point.
Guided tours leave from the South Foyer. Use the current visitor-entry directions before walking around to your tour. This is an easy pairing with the Bullock Museum on a free city day, with lunch and the walk between them planned separately.
