01 / The experience
Barton Springs Pool
Give yourself time for a swim and a change of clothes before the next outing. Barton Springs is an outdoor pool, so check current closures before leaving your hotel.
Thursday’s long cleaning closure matters for race-week planning: choose a different daytime activity on 22 October. Bring swimwear, a towel and water in a resealable plastic container. Food, alcohol, glass, pets and coolers are not permitted inside.
