01 / The experience
Duracell Power Paddock · Brazos Hall
Duracell brings a playful version of the paddock to Brazos Hall on the Wednesday before the Grand Prix. The programme mixes live music with radio-controlled racing, a horseshoe challenge and a simulated Battery Bull. A wind-effect photo booth adds a race-inspired picture opportunity, while a digital graffiti wall gives the group something different to try between games.
Alex Albon is announced for a special appearance through Duracell’s Williams partnership. His Power Paddock appearance time is still to be announced; it is a different event from the timed Williams Q&A at 800 Congress. Fans interested in seeing him should keep those two opportunities distinct.
The host venue puts the party in Austin’s downtown warehouse district, with the main hall’s timber floor and brickwork providing a change from the circuit’s open grounds. It is an easy event to build a Wednesday around once entry arrangements are settled. An earlier visit leaves the evening choice open between Williams’ Q&A and the Long Center car showcase, which start close together.
