Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
Walk native-plant gardens and trails on a separate South Austin half-day.
01 / The experience
Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
Use the Wildflower Center for a slower South Austin morning before continuing towards Driftwood or returning to the city. The gardens focus on native Texas landscapes, with trails and family spaces spread beyond the main courtyard.
In late October, ordinary garden hours are 09:00–17:00 and final admission is at 16:00. Pre-purchase is strongly encouraged, and parking can be limited at busy times. Keep this as a free-day visit rather than placing it before a fixed COTA departure.
