Founded 1962. Founded in 1962 and named after the Renaissance physician-scholar Thomas Linacre; it was the UK's first graduate college open to both sexes and all subjects.
A compact modern and Queen Anne-style campus on St Cross Road, notable for its pioneering environmental design, including the award-winning eco-friendly Abraham Building. It became Oxford's first carbon-neutral college.
