Founded 1314. Founded in 1314 by Walter de Stapeldon, Bishop of Exeter; it is the fourth-oldest Oxford college.

Older quads overlaid with Victorian Gothic Revival by Sir George Gilbert Scott, whose soaring chapel is modelled on the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris; the Fellows' Garden overlooks Radcliffe Square.
