Legacy Club

Legacy Club is an invitation to see Las Vegas from its downtown end. On Circa's 60th floor, the rooftop lounge looks across the valley, with indoor seating and an outdoor terrace. It suits an evening when the skyline is the attraction: arrive around sunset for the change of light, or make a later drinks reservation once the city is illuminated.

The terrace and its fire pits give the bar a different character from an enclosed cocktail room. Indoors offers another option when you want shelter or a more contained setting. Choose the seating with that distinction in mind. For a couple celebrating something, the sunset package can bring the reservation, cocktails, charcuterie and champagne toast together; a standard table gives more freedom to order individually.

The club's display of gold and its portraits of Las Vegas figures add to the sense of place. You can take those in on the way to your table, then let the view do most of the work. It is particularly rewarding for visitors whose hotel and race plans keep them on the central Strip: downtown gives the city a different foreground.

Order the visit around drinks rather than expecting a full restaurant dinner. A build-your-own Old Fashioned offers one way into the cocktail menu, while shareable drinks suit a group who want to order together. Live DJ nights change the mood, so an early skyline booking and a later music-led visit are different choices.

Circa also provides a useful base for a wider downtown evening. You can combine a restaurant reservation with the rooftop without adding a second car journey between them. The return to a Strip hotel is still a separate transfer, and the view from downtown does not turn Legacy Club into an F1 viewing venue. Choose it for the city, the terrace and the drinks.
