LAS · race-week arrivalsAllow extra time through the Airport Connector

Roadworks continue through race week and are expected to last until roughly the end of December 2026. From 05:00 to 00:00, two lanes operate in each direction; from 00:00 to 05:00, Sunday to Friday, traffic reduces to one lane in each direction.

Zoox and Vegas Loop both offer selected airport connections, with their own Level Zero pickup instructions at Terminals 1 and 3. Their return airport drop-offs use the departures curbs. Compare the destination offered with your hotel address: neither is a promise of a direct ride to every Strip hotel.

The tunnel remains open, but schedules may change. Check live conditions and confirm Zoox coverage in the app before travel.

International private aviationDedicated customs processing is now open at LAS

A dedicated U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility on the west side of LAS now handles international general-aviation and private-jet arrivals separately from commercial passenger processing.

This does not change public-terminal pickup or commercial-passenger guidance. Confirm handling and customs arrangements with your operator or FBO.

Private aviation · 17–23 NovemberAdvance permission required at HND and VGT

Visiting aircraft need prior permission at Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas Airport from 00:01 on 17 November to 23:59 on 23 November. Aircraft based at the respective airport are exempt from PPR and special-event fees. The fee window ends at 20:00 on 21 November; all times are local PST. IFR departures on Sunday 22 November also require an assigned slot; contact HND +1 702-261-4800 or VGT +1 702-261-3803. Fees and capacity limits apply.

Race-week transport · local PSTThe Monorail runs through the night

Continuous service runs from 07:00 on Tuesday 17 November until 03:00 on Monday 23 November 2026. Choose the station nearest your ticket zone, then follow the signed walk to your entrance. The Monorail does not serve the airport.

2026 Monorail event fares
Now on sale: 24h $13.85 · 2 days $24.45 · 3 days $27.75 · 4 days $34.30 · 5 days $41.25 · 7 days $53.30.
Local-resident single rides
$1 at station customer-service booths, except Boingo Station. Race-week booths open 11:00–23:00 on 19–21 November; buy before they close.

The organiser and Monorail operator both confirm continuous service for the 2026 race week.

On foot · inside and outside the track perimeterHow to walk between inside and outside the circuit

Start with your assigned ticket zone, not the nearest point on the track. The official F1 Las Vegas app supplies walking directions from your hotel to your zone. Road closures start at 13:00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday; a vehicle closure does not tell you which pedestrian crossing is open.

  1. Use the Monorail to travel between the outside and inside of the circuit, then follow the signed walk from the station to your ticket entrance. It does not provide admission to a race zone.
  2. For the T-Mobile Zone at Sphere, the organiser confirms a pedestrian bridge across the track with elevators on both sides. Follow the route for your ticket; this does not establish a public shortcut between other zones.
  3. Check the event app and staff directions before using a pedestrian overpass. A complete public list of open crossings, including the Flamingo/LINQ approach, is not confirmed in the current guide.
  4. Use authorised bridges and signed pedestrian routes. Do not cross the race surface unless event staff explicitly authorise access.

RTC buses connect through Terminal 1; Zoox and Vegas Loop serve selected destinations. The Monorail is useful once you are on the Strip, with a separate walk to your ticket entrance. The bus and rail map shows those public-transport connections; it is not a Vegas Loop route map.

Taxi or app car: compare the whole journey

A taxi avoids the walk to a rideshare garage and offers regulated zone pricing on direct airport–Strip journeys in either direction. A card fee may sit outside the zone amount. Multiple destinations or additional stops change the fare basis; downtown and off-Strip hotels are not automatically in a Strip airport zone.

Uber and Lyft show the chosen vehicle’s fare in the app. Compare that total with the taxi dispatcher’s applicable fare and surcharges, especially during the Grand Prix. For several large cases, reserve sufficient boot space rather than dividing the cheapest small-car price by the group size. Neither option includes a guaranteed race gate drop-off.

Airport Connector Tunnel works during race week

From 05:00 to 00:00, two lanes operate in each direction. From 00:00 to 05:00, Sunday to Friday, traffic reduces to one lane in each direction. These are lane restrictions rather than complete closures, and the airport says schedules may change.

International private aviation

International general-aviation and private-jet arrivals can now use a dedicated U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility on the west side of LAS. It is separate from commercial passenger processing, so public-terminal pickup maps do not apply to this facility.

Official private-aviation customs announcement ↗
Private aviation: HND and VGT require advance permission

Visiting aircraft need prior permission (PPR) at Henderson Executive (HND) and North Las Vegas (VGT) from 00:01 on 17 November to 23:59 on 23 November. Aircraft based at the respective airport are exempt from PPR and special-event fees. Requests are first-come, first-served and capacity-limited; include the PPR number in your flight plan remarks. Special-event fees are $220 to $3,750 per arrival, based on aircraft length × wingspan, from 00:01 on 17 November until 20:00 on 21 November. All times are local PST.

On Sunday 22 November, all IFR departures require an assigned slot. Call HND +1 702-261-4800 or VGT +1 702-261-3803. This does not change commercial passenger guidance at LAS.
