Wynn Golf Club
An 18-hole Fazio course at Wynn, with caddie service, warm-up facilities and the new Cliff House overlooking the finish.
01 / The experience
A serious round without leaving your resort behind.
Wynn Golf Club makes a convincing case for keeping a golf day on the Strip. Tom and Logan Fazio's 18-hole course occupies the former Desert Inn golf site, with trees, streams, waterfalls and strategic bunkers around the playing lines. For someone staying at Wynn or Encore, the attraction is unusually direct: a substantial golf experience can begin inside the resort rather than with a long drive out of the city.
The course is worth choosing for the round itself, not simply its convenience. Water and bunkering ask you to think about where to place the ball, and the landscaped setting gives each hole more separation from the surrounding city than the address might suggest. A caddie can help with those decisions, including club selection and the route into a green. Tell the booking team about your playing standard and preferred pace so the arrangement suits the people in your party.
The new Cliff House makes more of the time around the round. Its pro shop, locker rooms and player lounge give you somewhere to prepare, while the roof tee adds another part of the golf setting. Cliff House Grill looks towards the 18th green and serves breakfast, lunch, smaller plates and cocktails. That makes lunch a natural finish to the outing rather than another restaurant transfer to arrange.
Warm-up facilities include a practice green and a fully netted range. Give those some time if you have flown in without playing recently or are using hired equipment. The caddie service also extends beyond reading the course, with help keeping clubs clean and ordering refreshments. Complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks at the Tee House are a useful inclusion; they do not mean that every item from the Grill or every drink is part of the green fee.
This is a strong option when one or two people in a travelling party want golf without making everyone else join an out-of-town excursion. Non-golfers can spend the morning elsewhere in the resort and meet for lunch afterwards. Visitors staying at another hotel can also enquire about a tee time; the club describes arrival through the resort and valet rather than limiting the experience to in-house guests.
For Grand Prix week, an early daytime round is the most practical direction, but the full booking includes warm-up, golf and any meal you add. Do not compare only the tee time against the race schedule. Reserve enough daylight and enough time afterwards to change and make the separate journey to your ticket zone.

06 / Good to know
Wynn Golf Club: frequently asked questions
01Must I stay at Wynn?
The club describes arrival for outside guests as well as hotel guests; available tee times still require a reservation.
02Where do I check in?
At Cliff House, the clubhouse; use Wynn’s arrival directions rather than driving to the middle of the course map pin.
03Is there somewhere to warm up?
Yes, a practice green and fully netted range.
04Is lunch included?
Do not assume so. Cliff House Grill is a separate food-and-drink choice; the Tee House’s stated complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are a narrower inclusion.
