Wesley House
It is a small working community of Methodist scholars rather than a sightseeing stop, and it carries a very current Cambridge story: its century-old quadrangle has passed to Jesus College while the House continues on Castle Street.

Central-n — Castle Street
Founded 1921. It opened in 1921 to bring Methodist ministerial training to Cambridge, realising the vision and initial £50,000 gift of the draper-philanthropist Michael Gutteridge, and in 2025 its historic Jesus Lane site was sold back to Jesus College when the House moved to St Giles Court on Castle Street.
Its Tudor-revival brick quadrangle of 1925–30 on Jesus Lane, designed by Maurice Webb, now forms part of Jesus College. Since 2025 the House itself works from St Giles Court on Castle Street, below Castle Hill.
