Founded 1473. Founded in 1473 by Robert Woodlark, Provost of King's College, as Katharine Hall, dedicated to St Catharine of Alexandria.
Largely rebuilt in warm red brick from 1673, the college centres on a three-sided Main Court that opens to Trumpington Street through wrought-iron railings, with an early 18th-century chapel on its north side.
