Founded 1879. Traces its origins to 1879 as the Society of Oxford Home-Students, part of the movement to educate women at Oxford; it became the St Anne's Society in 1942 and gained full college status by royal charter in 1952.
A predominantly modern North Oxford campus mixing converted Victorian villas with mid-20th-century and contemporary buildings, including the domed Ruth Deech Building and a modern dining hall.
