A specialist graduate college devoted to the social sciences, of interest for its unusual mid-century architecture and prominent library tower rather than as a classic tourist college.

A 20th-century college in Cotswold domestic style designed by Austen Harrison, distinguished by a tall modernist tower (the first tower built in Oxford in some 200 years) that houses the college library. It stands on the site of the former Oxford Canal basin in the city's west end.
