Green Templeton College

Home to the Radcliffe Observatory, one of Oxford's finest Georgian buildings, in a quieter graduate setting north of the city centre.

Founded 2008. Formed in 2008 by the merger of Green College (1979) and Templeton College (1965), named for benefactors Dr Cecil Green and Sir John Templeton; it is a graduate-only college focused on management, medicine and the social sciences.

Centred on the elegant late-18th-century Radcliffe Observatory, an Oxford landmark modelled on the Tower of the Winds in Athens, set within the former Radcliffe Infirmary grounds among modern graduate buildings.
