Above Guide / Your itinerary
Your New York itinerary.
Save hotels, activities and places as you browse, then arrange them into separate days with time to explore and rest.
Your dates. Your sessions. Your New York.
Build your tennis trip.
Choose a Manhattan or Queens trip, then edit your dates, travellers, hotel and spending. Example stays are not confirmed ticket dates. Totals are estimates; flights are excluded. Add taxes, tips and any fees not already included in your activity costs.
Day-by-day plans & alternatives · Manhattan tennis & Midtown
Morning, afternoon and evening are suggested blocks, not timed bookings. Optional places and weather alternatives are not added to your saved visits or budget automatically. If you replace a visit, remove the original and save the replacement to update costs; purchased tickets keep their own change and refund terms. At the tennis, follow weather announcements: roofs on Ashe and Armstrong do not give a grounds ticket admission to those stadiums.
This is the suggested sequence for 2027-08-28–2027-09-01. Your saved visits, removals and booking times take priority; this guide does not move them.
Breakfast and late food · The Westin New York Grand Central
Amuse serves breakfast for a fee unless your rate or entitlement includes it. Choose it before travel or save a separate breakfast stop.
Los Tacos by Grand Central can fit a return before midnight Mon–Sat or 22:00 Sunday. Room service exists, but all-night food is not promised.
If your booked rate includes breakfast, reduce the ordinary breakfast allowance. Coffee-only services are not a full breakfast.
Reservation priorities
- Secure the tennis and hotel first
Choose admission for the intended session and agree the hotel room, full price and cancellation terms. City bookings do not establish tennis entry or a match finish.
- Reserve the weekday seafood lunch
Book Oyster Bar for Monday. It opens at 11:30, closes at weekends and has its last seating at 21:30. A terminal visit does not reserve a restaurant table.
- Leave the park flexible
The Main Concourse and ordinary Bryant Park walk need no admission booking. Put any optional timed attraction in the free city block, not after tennis.
2027-08-28 · Arrive and settle into your base
Morning
Keep this block for your inbound journey. Make a prepaid city visit only if your arrival leaves a comfortable margin; luggage and the hotel come first.
Afternoon
Drop luggage or check in at your Manhattan hotel. Use a short outing only if the arrival permits it; the selected hotel’s check-in and storage arrangements control this block.
Evening
Have dinner near your base and prepare the ticket and permitted bag for the first tennis visit. Keep tonight’s meal flexible around the inbound journey.
2027-08-29 · A day for the grounds and matches
Morning
Have breakfast and keep the morning free of a distant timed visit. Read the ticket entrance and bag rules before leaving the hotel.
Afternoon
Use the afternoon for the grounds and matches under your ticket’s access. A stadium seat does not give reserved seating in every other stadium.
Evening
Keep the evening open for the match and return. Eat before concessions close and use the actual last usable connection for your hotel; a day ticket does not imply unlimited evening access.
2027-08-30 · Grand Central, seafood and Bryant Park
Morning
Start inside Grand Central’s Main Concourse, then take the lower-level route to an Oyster Bar lunch from 11:30. The terminal is an attraction as well as your 7-train departure point; the restaurant has separate hours.
Afternoon
After lunch, walk west along 42nd Street to Bryant Park. Keep the park visit to about an hour so the afternoon remains useful for hotel time or a second Midtown stop.
Evening
Make this a flexible Midtown evening. A restaurant near your hotel is easier than a second crosstown excursion after the seafood lunch; choose and save a dinner only if you want it costed separately.
2027-08-31 · A spare city day, with room to adjust
Morning
Use the remaining city morning for a missed Midtown stop or hotel breakfast; there is no second compulsory museum.
Afternoon
An optional MoMA visit gives Tuesday an indoor focus. It is a separate admission and should be saved only if you want it in the budget.
Optional additions · save separately to include their costs.
Evening
Keep your final dinner close to the hotel, with luggage and the next morning’s departure in mind.
2027-09-01 · Breakfast, luggage and onward travel
Morning
Have breakfast, pack and settle the hotel bill. Arrange luggage storage if your departure is later than checkout; keep travel documents and essential medication with you.
Afternoon
Use your selected airport or rail route with time for luggage collection, transfers and airport formalities. A museum or restaurant stop needs its own margin.
Evening
Keep the evening for onward travel. If your stay continues, extend the accommodation and move the next outing into the extra day rather than treating checkout as another full sightseeing day.
Wet-weather alternatives
Replace the park, not the lunch
Keep the indoor concourse and Oyster Bar sequence. For a longer indoor afternoon, choose MoMA with its own admission; remove the park from the active plan if you make that substitution.
If the match runs late
If Sunday tennis runs late, go straight back to the hotel and keep Monday’s concourse start flexible. Los Tacos near Grand Central closes at 22:00 on Sunday, so eat before leaving the grounds if that closing is no longer realistic.
