01 / The experience
Templo Mayor · ruins and museum
Use the archaeological remains and site museum together to understand the ceremonial centre of Tenochtitlan. The ruins and museum sit beside the Zócalo, making them a natural part of a Centro cultural day.
The outdoor excavation and indoor museum have different weather and mobility demands. Ask staff about the route you can use, and keep the museum visit flexible if weather or crowd controls affect the outdoor circuit.

Getting there
Templo Mayor · ruins and museum
Seminario 8, Centro Histórico, Cuauhtémoc, 06060 Ciudad de México
The pin marks the archaeological complex. Follow current public-entry signs for Seminario 8 rather than crossing excavations or using an assumed entrance. Check Zócalo/Tenochtitlan station status and Centro cordons.
Plan your visit
Use INAH visitor information and its official ticket channel. One archaeological-zone admission includes the site museum; check the selected date and any last-entry cutoff.
Accessibility
Confirm the accessible museum entrance and the usable archaeological route with staff; uneven surfaces, ramps and the outdoor walk need separate consideration.
