Castillo de Chapultepec · Museo Nacional de Historia

01 / The experience
Castillo de Chapultepec · Museo Nacional de Historia
Visit the Museo Nacional de Historia inside Chapultepec Castle for a history-led outing with palace rooms and views across the park. Allow time for the uphill approach through the First Section before your museum visit.
Choose this or a substantial Anthropology visit as the main stop for a shorter day. Fitting both deeply, a fixed dinner and a race transfer into the same afternoon would leave little flexibility.

Getting there
Castillo de Chapultepec · Museo Nacional de Historia
Primera Sección del Bosque de Chapultepec, Miguel Hidalgo, 11100 Ciudad de México
The pin marks the castle at the top of the hill. Enter the First Section of the park and follow the signed uphill museum approach. The museum describes a Gandhi stop connection from Metrobús Line 7; check current park entry and festival diversions.
Plan your visit
Use the museum’s official INAH ticket link or authorised ticket desk. Confirm last entry, current gallery openings and any concessions before travelling.
Accessibility
The summit approach adds a significant mobility constraint. Ask the museum about current assisted access and the galleries you can reach; do not infer a step-free trip from a building pin.
