Editorial policy / Above Guide Turkish Grand Prix

How we research and explain the guide.

Useful travel advice needs clear sources, honest limits and a distinction between facts and recommendations.

01

Sources and race editions

  • Formula 1, the FIA and the local organiser for schedules, results and event arrangements.
  • Circuit and authorised ticketing sources for viewing areas and admission conditions.
  • Transport operators, public authorities and venues for the services they run.
  • Independent sources for additional context, with conflicting information checked against the responsible organisation.

02

Maps and practical advice

Grandstand outlines and access points may be approximate. We identify older gate maps and avoid treating a nearby entrance as a ticket allocation. Unknown amenities or walking times are not filled with guesses.

Viewing recommendations are editorial judgements about the action and experience on offer. They are not guarantees of a particular seat’s view.

03

Updates and corrections

We update information when we review new sources or receive a supported correction. A review date applies to the information checked; it does not mean every venue or service has been inspected in person.

Check the current organiser or operator instructions for your booking, departure and admission.

04

Commercial independence

Paid placements, partnerships and affiliate links should be identified where they appear. Commercial relationships must not be presented as independent recommendations or change factual access information.

05

AI assistance

AI tools may assist research, drafting and data organisation. Generated text is not evidence: factual claims need supporting sources, and the same editorial and correction standards apply.
