01 / The experience

K1 Speed Coapa · karting and simulator sessions

Choose Coapa for a south-city motorsport afternoon on a free day. K1 Speed offers electric karting inside Gran Terraza Coapa, on level 2. Adults and juniors race separately; allow time for registration, equipment and the safety briefing.

GSM also lists a single three-screen GT simulator at this branch. Its published choices are 20 minutes for MXN 199 or one hour for MXN 399, paid at the venue. The online reservation page says booking is still being enabled: contact GSM and obtain a confirmed time before travelling specifically for the simulator. Karting and simulator sessions are separate purchases.

Keep the meal flexible until your racing finishes. The shopping centre has dining options, or make a separate return to your hotel neighbourhood. Avoid adding this longer south-city journey immediately after a race-day circuit exit.

  1. 01

Adult minimum height: 1.47 m; junior minimum: 1.20 m. Adults and juniors race separately.

  2. 02

Wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair. Follow staff instructions and the mandatory new-driver briefing.

  3. 03

No racing under the influence of alcohol or drugs; no bumping or blocking.

  4. 04

K1 excludes racing during pregnancy and for people with heart, neck or back conditions; check the full operator rules before booking.

  5. 05

Simulator sessions have separate eligibility and fitting requirements; confirm before paying. One simulator is available, so a group cannot race simultaneously.

  6. 06

Step-free access to the shopping centre does not establish kart or simulator transfer suitability. Ask staff about transfers, controls and harness fit.
