Visit Bahrain Village between sessions

Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority brings Bahrain Village to the Mall Area at Sepang. Explore Arabic calligraphy, boat making, basket weaving, falconry, henna, pottery, traditional clothing and fish-trap making, alongside Bahraini games, live music and cultural demonstrations.

Find it
Mall Area, between the Welcome Centre and Main Grandstand. The map pin marks the area, not an individual booth.
Food to try
Halwa, traditional tea, nakhi, flavoured ice cream and luqaimat.

The official booklet now publishes timed Bahrain Village performances throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Sepang race-week essentials

Pack for rain and plan how to pay at the circuit

Rain and electronics
Pack a compact rain poncho and resealable waterproof bags for your phone, tickets and power bank. Covered seating still leaves walks and queues exposed. Follow marshals’ instructions during storms.
Poncho, not a long umbrella
Long umbrellas are prohibited. Pack a compact rain poncho so you stay dry without blocking other spectators’ views.
Buy drinks after entry
Water bottles and all outside food and beverages are prohibited. Leave them behind before joining the security queue.
Cash, cards and DuitNow QR
Payment methods have not been confirmed for every circuit vendor. Carry a modest MYR cash backup alongside your payment card, and ask before ordering. Check whether your own bank or wallet supports the displayed QR payment method; do not depend on a foreign card or wallet working at every stall.

Sunday 4 October · after the Grand Prix

Plan your return before arriving at Sepang

Sunday exit: western taxi rank, not the main entranceThe published Grand Prix window ends at 17:00 Malaysia time on 4 October, subject to delays. For return taxis, follow signs west of the Welcome Centre to the rank beside the Go Kart / Concert Area near PA1/P1. Confirm Grab pickup with your driver. Keep a generous exit buffer before any train or flight connection.

Arrange your return transfer in advance where possible, or keep the official shuttle as an alternative to an on-demand Grab booking. Leave plenty of time for walking out, shuttle queues and road traffic. Avoid a tight onward flight connection.

  1. For a taxi, use the western rank beside the Go Kart / Concert Area, west of the Welcome Centre near PA1/P1. Only public taxis, Grab and Limousine KLIA may travel directly to the venue; other private-hire services are not permitted.
  2. For KL Sentral, take the official circuit shuttle to KLIA T2, then the train. Check the train timetable separately and allow for the interchange.
  3. Sunday’s final public closing time is not published. Stay only in areas open to your ticket and follow on-site exit instructions. Martin Garrix starts at 20:40; the concert needs an upgrade and a valid F1 ticket.
  4. Official hub shuttles operate 07:00–00:00 on race days. Confirm the last return departure with staff; do not assume arriving at the queue at midnight guarantees a bus.

Off-track entertainment

Concert entry requires a separate upgrade and a valid F1 race-weekend ticket: USD50 per person for Axwell and USD100 for Martin Garrix. Upgrades are subject to availability and allocated first come, first served. A concert ticket without the corresponding F1 ticket does not grant entry.

Access is confirmed; check your ticket for the gate

Use one of four official shuttle hubs during 2–4 October, 07:00–00:00. Circuit parking requires a pass, and permitted taxi / e-hailing drop-off is at the main entrance. Internal shuttles run during circuit opening hours; BIC advertises a bus every minute. Follow signs to your ticket’s gate, and leave water bottles and all outside food and drink behind.
