US Open 2027 / New York

## Your first US Open match day.
*The journey. The courts. The ride home.*

A first-timer’s guide to leaving your New York hotel, getting through the gates, finding your court and getting home after a late match.

Your first US Open match day.

### From your hotel to the final point.

Your first US Open visit starts with three things: the session on your ticket, the court you want to see and a route back to your hotel. Get those settled before leaving, and the day opens up to everything else—an outer-court match, lunch on the grounds and the atmosphere inside a packed stadium.

Follow the steps below in order, or jump to your hotel journey, court access or late return. For 2027, use the opening time and entrance attached to your actual session; there is no single arrival time that works for every day, ticket or hospitality package.

#### 1. Start with your session and order of play

Read the date, day or evening session, named stadium and any reserved section, row and seat on your ticket. Then look at the official order of play for that day. A session ticket buys the admission described in its terms; it does not guarantee a particular player. A match listed after another match starts when the court is ready, rather than at a time you can build a restaurant reservation around.

Choose one priority match and an alternative court you are entitled to enter. If you have hospitality, find its entrance instructions, serving hours and meeting arrangements before travelling: a dining or club reservation and a stadium seat are separate parts of the booking. Keep the return journey clear of a fixed dinner, show or airport connection.

- [Understand your ticket →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/tickets>)
- [Sessions and the tournament programme →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/tournament-week>)

#### 2. Get your phone and small bag ready

Open the actual mobile ticket at the hotel. Add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, or use the US Open app; screenshots, PDFs and purchase emails do not work at the gate. If your group will enter separately, transfer tickets and have everyone accept them before setting off. One phone can hold several tickets when the party enters together. Charge it fully and save the hotel address and return station separately from the ticket.

Leave suitcases and your work laptop at the hotel. The published bag limit is one bag per guest, no larger than 12 × 12 × 16 inches; backpacks are prohibited apart from a single-compartment drawstring bag. Bring a reusable metal or plastic bottle of 24 oz or less, comfortable shoes, sun protection and a light evening layer. Take a payment card or mobile wallet: the grounds are cashless. Medical and disability-related bag needs require the organiser’s arrangements.

- [Packing limits, families and mobile entry →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/essentials>)

#### 3. Work backwards from the gates

Aim to reach your permitted entrance around its opening time if you want time to explore before your first match. Build the journey in pieces: hotel-to-station walk, waiting and train travel, station-to-gate walk, screening, then the walk to your seat. The organiser describes the subway station to Main Entry as roughly 10–15 minutes on foot. That is an approach allowance, not a promise to be seated 15 minutes after the train arrives; crowds and mobility needs can add time.

An evening ticket does not give ordinary daytime admission. Eat before leaving or plan food after entry, rather than arriving hours early expecting to wander inside. On a checkout day, arrange hotel luggage storage and its collection hours before committing to a late finish. Use the day’s MTA service notices before choosing a train, especially on weekends.

[Find your session’s gate-opening time ↗](<https://www.usopen.org/en_US/visit/gate_opening_times.html>)

#### 4. Leaving a Manhattan hotel

From Pod 39 or The Westin New York Grand Central, walk to Grand Central–42 St and follow signs for the Flushing-bound 7. From Pod Times Square, use Times Sq–42 St; the 7 platforms are a separate walk within the station complex. The Langham’s ordinary route uses the 7 at 5 Av on 42nd Street. For a step-free station approach from The Langham, use Grand Central instead and follow its lift route.

Your destination is Mets–Willets Point, not the final stop at Flushing–Main St. Use the stopping pattern shown for the actual train rather than choosing by its local or express label alone. After tennis, reverse the hotel route on the Manhattan-bound 7; ramp users follow the accessible return described below.

- [The Langham →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/where-to-stay/langham-new-york>)

#### 5. Leaving a Queens hotel

From LIC Hotel, use Court Sq for a Flushing-bound 7. From Hyatt Place Long Island City, use Queensboro Plaza. Both take you east to Mets–Willets Point; follow the platform signs for the actual service. Return west on the Manhattan-bound 7 to the same hotel station, then follow the street route back to your entrance.

Hyatt Place Flushing and Renaissance Flushing at Tangram use Flushing–Main St. The ordinary outward journey is one stop on a Manhattan-bound 7 to Mets–Willets Point; home is the Flushing-bound train back to Main St. That direct outward journey arrives on the platform without the event ramp. If you need the ramp, one option is to continue to Woodside, change to a Flushing-bound 7 and approach Mets on that platform, subject to working lifts and the ramp being open. Allow for the extra travel.

- [Renaissance Flushing →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/where-to-stay/renaissance-flushing>)

#### 6. Choose the right train and fare

The 7 is the straightforward choice from these hotel stations. Use contactless subway payment at the turnstile and keep the same card or device for your own journeys. LIRR is a different railway with its own ticket: choose a Port Washington Branch service whose stop list includes Mets–Willets Point, using TrainTime for that departure. Penn Station, Grand Central and Woodside can provide useful connections, but a train leaving one of those hubs is not automatically a tennis train.

Jamaica is not on the Port Washington Branch. Airport arrivals should use the airport-specific rail and subway connections rather than board an arbitrary LIRR train for Queens. Mets–Willets Point’s LIRR station is not accessible; travellers needing the event ramp should use the 7, transferring at Woodside where appropriate. Leave ticket activation, fare choices and your return connection settled before boarding.

- [Fares, airports and the full transport network →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/getting-there>)

#### 7. Follow the tennis signs to your entrance

At Mets–Willets Point, follow signs for the National Tennis Center and Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The station area also serves Citi Field, so follow tennis directions rather than simply copying the largest crowd. The station passage and Passerelle boardwalk lead towards the tennis grounds; Main Entry is the usual nearby approach. Keep your ticket accessible during the walk. LIRR staff can also inspect the rail ticket as you leave the station.

Champions’ Entry is a separate approach on the south side. Use it when your ticket, transport or assistance arrangements direct you there, following the public paths outside the grounds. Our station-walk lines include steps; they are not the event-ramp route. Ramp users arriving on the Flushing-bound 7 should follow the signed ramp and staff directions, with its event opening hours and the starting station’s lifts established before travel.

- [Mapped station approaches →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/getting-there>)
- [Locate Main Entry and Champions’ Entry →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/venue>)

#### 8. Clear security before heading to a court

Join the queue for your permitted entrance and have your mobile ticket ready for scanning. Everyone passes through screening and belongings may be searched. If a bag cannot enter, storage is outside Main Entry and Champions’ Entry for a fee; there is no inside luggage store to solve the problem after admission. Allow time to deal with it before your priority match.

A ticket problem belongs with ticket staff or the Box Office, not a screenshot offered at the scanner. If the phone battery fails before entry, the organiser directs visitors to the Box Office for help. Once inside, agree a specific meeting point with your party before splitting up. If you need a wheelchair escort, ask gate staff on arrival: the limited service runs between the gate and your ticketed seat, subject to availability, and is not a wheelchair loan or station collection.

- [Entry rules and assistance →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/essentials>)

#### 9. Find the stadium, then your seat

Use the official grounds map or app to find the named court, then follow stadium signs for your ticket’s section and level. At the seating entrance, show the ticket to an usher for the row and seat. Main Entry admits you to the grounds; it is not the entrance to your individual seating block. Give yourself time to reach the correct level before the match rather than joining the first stadium queue you see.

Arthur Ashe’s reserved seat applies to the session on the ticket. Its 2027 transformation makes current signs and ushers particularly useful for the new entrance and concourse arrangements. Use the designated lift route for your seat if needed; a picture of the stadium or an older visit is not a route through the renovated building. Armstrong, Grandstand, Stadium 17 and the numbered field courts are separate destinations on the venue map.

[Open the organiser’s grounds map ↗](<https://maps.usopen.org/>)

- [Recognise the stadiums and courts →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/venue>)

#### 10. Know when a seat is yours

A grounds pass gives the access listed for that product, not a reserved seat in Arthur Ashe. Armstrong and Grandstand distinguish reserved seating from general-admission areas. Where your admission permits unreserved seating, it is first come, first served and can fill up: a queue at a popular match is normal. Do not take an empty reserved seat without the right ticket.

Choose between staying with a compelling match and moving to another court. Leaving an unreserved area can mean losing your place and joining a new queue. Moving between courts inside the grounds is different from leaving the event: before going outside for a meal or to collect something, ask staff whether your specific ticket allows re-entry and what exit procedure applies. Day and evening stadium seats are separate entitlements, so a day seat is not yours for the evening session.

- [Stadium access and grounds passes →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/tickets>)

#### 11. Settle in without missing the tennis

At the seating entrance, wait for the usher’s signal to move. Stay quiet during points and avoid moving within a player’s view while they serve; use permitted breaks to find your row, leave or return. Keep bags out of aisles, silence the phone and turn off flash and ring lights. Cheering belongs after the point. An umbrella must be closed during play.

For a first visit, the scoreboard is your guide: points run love, 15, 30 and 40, then game; 40–40 is deuce. Women’s singles is best of three sets and men’s singles best of five, which is one reason a late finish is hard to predict. The order of play may also change. Refresh it between courts rather than treating the morning schedule as an appointment list.

[The organiser’s tennis scoring guide ↗](<https://www.usopen.org/en_US/us-open-at-home/how_tennis_works_us_open_101.html>)

#### 12. Fit food, water and a break around play

If you want to see the start of a match, eat before taking your seat rather than spending that opening set in a food queue. Food Village and the published on-site concessions give you choices between courts; premium clubs and hospitality dining have their own admission and serving arrangements. Use the guide’s on-site food choices and meal estimates to decide what to allow for food and drinks, leaving room for a long afternoon or evening.

Refill your permitted bottle at water stations and use the grounds map for nearby toilets and First Aid. Tell the nearest staff member promptly if someone feels unwell. Guest Services can help with directions, listening equipment and sensory kits; accessible services and availability vary by location. Families will find changing tables in public restrooms, with nursing rooms at Grandstand and Louis Armstrong First Aid. Agree where to meet again after a food or toilet break.

- [Facilities, heat and help →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/essentials>)

#### 13. Keep rain and session changes in perspective

Ashe and Armstrong have retractable roofs; the outdoor courts can stop when weather intervenes. A roof over another stadium does not give you admission there. During a delay, follow announcements and the live order of play before changing courts or leaving. Refunds or exchanges depend on the ticket and the applicable weather policy, so a shower does not automatically mean a refund.

If you are attending both day and evening sessions, have both tickets ready and follow staff instructions for the transition. Leave the reserved day-session seat when directed. Grounds access, re-entry, a stadium clearance and the opening of an evening session are different decisions; avoid treating a general gate time as permission to keep a seat. If the day runs late, allow the evening admission process to happen before expecting to be seated.

- [Ticket conditions and weather remedies →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/tickets>)

#### 14. A simple first day-session plan

Have breakfast near your hotel, get the ticket and bag ready, and travel to reach the permitted grounds opening. After screening, locate your reserved stadium or first eligible outer court. Use the opening part of the visit for the match you most want, with a second court as an alternative if an unreserved area is full. Put food, water and a short grounds walk between those choices.

In the afternoon, decide whether to stay with the tennis or return to the city. A Manhattan dinner after a day session works best as a flexible meal rather than a prepaid tasting menu at a fixed hour. If staying for evening tennis, use the rights on your ticket or separate evening booking. Before the final match you intend to watch, refresh the return route and decide your departure cutoff.

- [Choose a flexible meal near your base →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/neighbourhoods>)

#### 15. A simple first evening-session plan

Keep the morning for a city visit close to your base, then have lunch or an early meal and return to the hotel if you need to change or leave bags. Travel for the entry time attached to your evening admission. Once through security, use any spare time for water, food and the walk to your seating level. Do not schedule another timed attraction between a train’s arrival at Mets and the first match.

Make the tennis the evening’s booking. A restaurant, jazz set or theatre performance afterwards can become impossible if a match continues late. Have a food option before entry or inside, carry the evening layer, and choose the return train or road fallback before play. A late match is memorable; finding your hotel station for the first time afterwards is avoidable.

- [Choose a manageable morning visit →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/things-to-do>)
- [Build your session around a city day →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/my-itinerary>)

#### 16. Set your journey home before the last set

Before your last match, look up the entire trip to the hotel and set a leave-the-seat time if you need a particular connection. Include the stadium exit, grounds walk, station crowd, train wait, transfers and final hotel walk. A departure shown at Mets is not the time to leave your seat. The 7 local normally runs at all times; express service is more limited, so do not wait for a late express as your only plan. Engineering work can change the route.

Follow signed exits and station staff, then take the correct direction: Manhattan-bound for Long Island City and Manhattan hotel stations, Flushing-bound for Flushing–Main St. LIRR users need a stopping train to the correct destination in TrainTime. A train held at Mets after an event does not guarantee that a connection at Woodside or Penn will wait. Choose another workable route or a road transfer if the final usable connection has gone; do not chase an airport train on the strength of the tennis still being played.

[Current MTA service and journey information ↗](<https://www.mta.info/>)

- [Late rail and airport returns →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/getting-there>)

#### 17. Take the accessible return in the right direction

The event ramp at Mets–Willets Point serves the Flushing-bound 7 platform only and opens for major events. For Manhattan and Long Island City, the accessible return first travels to Flushing–Main St, then back towards Manhattan. MTA describes remaining aboard the returning train; follow staff directions at the terminus if trains are being handled differently. Allow for this loop and establish that the ramp will remain open for your departure.

For the Flushing hotels, the ramp already leads to the homeward direction. For everyone, working lifts at the hotel station, usable station exits and the final street route matter as much as the Mets ramp. If you need an escort from your seat to the grounds gate, tell staff when you want to leave; it is not automatically booked for the match finish and does not continue to the station. Arrange a suitable vehicle alternative if the required accessible route cannot operate.

- [Accessible approaches and returns →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/getting-there>)
- [Wheelchair escorts and other assistance →](<https://above.guide/new-york/us-open-tennis/essentials>)

#### 18. Use the designated pickup and finish the trip

If going home by taxi, rideshare or black car, use the event’s designated pickup rather than directing a driver to a stadium door. The organiser’s current arrangement uses the New York Hall of Science parking lot, with a walking path to Champions’ Entry and an assistance shuttle for guests who need it. Follow the day’s signed pickup instructions; allow for the walk, vehicle queues and a higher fare after a late finish. Access-A-Ride has a separate designated stop near Champions’ Entry and needs its own booking arrangements.

Before leaving the grounds, collect stored belongings and borrowed equipment, and resolve any missing phone or lost-property problem with staff. Keep enough payment and phone power for the onward trip. If a train is cancelled or the last usable connection has gone, ask station staff for a viable alternative and use a licensed taxi or booked car if necessary. Share the hotel’s full address and entrance with the driver; a neighbourhood name alone is not the final destination.

Check the daily order of play, the entrance on your ticket and your return journey. Match finish times vary.

Sources & travel notes

The 2027 guide is a research draft. The WTA listing covers its women’s event, not the complete programme. Fan Week, qualifying, mixed doubles and individual session dates remain unresolved.

The complex pin uses the geographic source’s published decimal coordinates. It does not identify an entrance. Year-round operator directions are retained separately from tournament-day arrival instructions.

The 28 New York attraction stories were expanded on 18 October 2026 using retained operator evidence and targeted current museum, park, transport and collection pages. Named collection works explain the character of a visit; rotations, maintenance and dated programmes determine what is accessible on a particular day. Older walking guides support enduring design and collection context, not current hours or a fixed future installation. Each attraction’s US Open timing advice is separate from its stable city story. Existing admission arithmetic, journeys, galleries and trip templates are retained.

Court identities were compared with the organiser’s 2025 grounds PDF and its 2026 hospitality map. Court pins and outlines derive from specific OpenStreetMap features; gate pins retain named geographic gate nodes. These are existing locations, not certification of the final 2027 circulation or ticket entitlements.

Arthur Ashe’s playing-area outline is retained, while its renovated exterior and new entrances are omitted pending geographic evidence. President’s Entry has conflicting geographic and schematic positions. Practice Courts P6–P17 beyond the boardwalk, temporary zones and complete accessible gate-to-seat routes remain unresolved.

The sixteen New York area guides group existing published venues for trip planning; the groupings are not administrative boundaries or additional visitable places. Their links retain each venue’s sourced coordinates and existing gallery. Named-place return estimates join the existing dining/activity planning records and start at Mets–Willets Point station. Outward route descriptions follow ordinary network connections; late service, event trains, station lifts and ramp opening require dated travel information. They do not guarantee 2027 departures or a fully step-free route. No new fares, prices or hotel quotes are introduced.

Ticket research reviewed on 15 October 2026. The official individual-ticket and plan pages invite 2027 sale alerts but retain 2026 product tables. Historical court access is kept separately from unknown 2027 session entitlements; no 2026 date, session number, price or weather remedy has been rolled forward.

The WTA women’s date range does not establish the full programme or ticket validity. No dated ticket products or session slots are enabled until the organiser publishes the relevant 2027 offers. Hospitality enquiries do not establish a reserved booking or live stock.

The 2027 hospitality announcement supports the three broad suite/club comparisons. Its placeholder copy, example parking allocations and inconsistent club counts are excluded. Named 2026 clubs and off-court experiences are not treated as confirmed 2027 products.

The organiser’s 2026 ticket landing page and admission article disagree about grounds-pass dates. No historical range is used as a 2027 admission window. Current terms and the 2026 weather-policy link are supplied for review; final conditions must match the ticket year, channel and offer.

The ticket decision page was prepared on 19 October 2026 using current official individual-ticket, plan, FAQ and hospitality pages, retained 2026 admission evidence and the current stadium seating charts reviewed for the court guides. Recommendations for one day, several visits and hospitality value are editorial comparisons, not ticket offers or guaranteed savings. Existing edition-specific product, session, access-zone, policy and price records remain unchanged; no dated booking option, final 2027 gate time, fare or ticket price was created. Older plan tables and their session counts are not carried forward. Booking guidance distinguishes alerts and enquiries from admission.

Transport guidance was reviewed on 15 October 2026. MTA operator rows supply the retained station coordinates and route shapes. Airport station reference nodes are OpenStreetMap features; they are not terminal doors or pickup bays.

The captured GTFS rows cover current services, not the published 2027 women’s event window. Calendar rules and exceptions were checked against that window; no 2027 departures, last trains or free tournament-travel entitlement is published here. Airport links, interchanges and station-to-gate handoffs have no invented line geometry or walking times.

Fare comparisons are October 2026 adult fares in USD, not confirmed 2027 prices. Current airport disruptions are not carried into 2027. Event ramp operation, 2027 pickup and assistance arrangements, and accessible gate-to-seat routes after the Arthur Ashe renovation remain open.

MTA geographic data, obtained and hosted by Above.Guide, is used under the MTA developer terms. Above.Guide is not an official MTA product. Airport station nodes: © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL.

Network expansion reviewed on 16 October 2026. Nine MTA GTFS feeds supply all configured active route identities, complete route-stop membership witnesses and referenced shapes. Public display shapes retain source vertices with an eight-metre simplification tolerance; no invented airport rail or walking connectors are drawn.

Airport rail and PATH geometry comes from named OpenStreetMap route relations. NJ Transit’s airport corridor is a continuous source-track path between named rail stop positions, rather than an inferred line between station markers. Physical route geometry does not establish stopping patterns or 2027 services.

Four exterior pedestrian paths reproduce consecutive edges of reviewed public OpenStreetMap ways and finish at the existing named gate nodes. Distances derive from that source geometry. They do not certify accessible travel, future construction access or security circulation; the conditional event ramp remains a separate unmapped approach.

New York owns the hotel identities, geographic references and selected real photographs. The US Open projection adds 2027 room allowances, arrival/return advice and booking questions. Hotel tiers are editorial comparisons, not official ratings or guaranteed price rankings.

Room allowances are editorial USD estimates for 28 August–13 September 2027, around the published WTA women’s window; this is not the confirmed full tournament programme. The default is four nights from 28 August–1 September for two adults. Saved dates and party size take precedence; extra adults scale estimated rooms, while children and dates outside the window require a quote. No dated availability, room quote or minimum stay is confirmed. Taxes and compulsory fees are additional.

Hotel pins are named property references or operator map/directions markers. Hyatt Place Flushing uses the sourced One Fulton Square host-complex polygon, not a hotel door or precise footprint; conflicting generic listing pins were excluded. Route descriptions join the retained 7 train station references and Main Entry. They do not invent walking geometry, door-to-gate times, hotel shuttles or 2027 accessible routes.

Selected photographs show the named hotel and room/space. Only LIC Hotel’s lead currently meets the full-building exterior requirement. The other seven complete-building exterior views remain open; room and interior photographs are not accepted as completion of that requirement. Cropped entrances are supplementary gallery views only. Room and terrace features depend on the category booked.

Hotel rooms, facilities and breakfast arrangements were expanded using current hotel/brand information reviewed 16 October 2026. Named room categories control beds, kitchens and accessible bathrooms. Standard, club and breakfast-inclusive rates have separate entitlements; the current Pod facility fee is additional to the room price. Room allowances remain editable estimates rather than dated booking quotes.

The New York city collection contains ten stable venue identities and geographic pins, separate from US Open 2027 session advice and named hotel connections. Operational references were captured on 16 October 2026; 2027 hours, exhibitions, events, kitchen service and prices are not confirmed. Visit durations are editorial allowances, not journey timetables.

Dining spend ranges are editorial USD allowances per person before tax and tip, not captured 2027 menu offers. Queens Museum currently uses pay-what-you-wish admission with $8 suggested for adults; MoMA PS1 currently offers free general admission to all. Reconfirm for the travel date.

Actual venue photographs retain their original scene and credited licence. Photograph dates vary; furniture, exhibitions, menus and seasonal conditions may change. Eataly’s 2013 photographs precede its other New York branch openings and are catalogued as Eataly NYC.

New World Mall’s food court, Ess-a-Bagel Midtown East, the Morgan and the Met remain research candidates. Incomplete exact-branch dining galleries and uncompleted museum location/media reviews keep those candidates outside the published city collection. No restaurant or city attraction implies US Open admission, re-entry or a guaranteed match finish.

Food recommendations use operator menus, Michelin’s 2025 New York selection, local food reporting and the US Open’s 2026 dining directory, reviewed 16 October 2026. Prices and service can change. The market has a tournament break; carts can move. On-site map pins identify the host complex, while the organiser’s map identifies outlets and admission areas.

New York activity guidance uses the current operator, NYC Tourism, NYC Parks and National Park Service information reviewed 16 October 2026. Dated performances, exhibitions, games and ferry services must be selected for the travel dates. Route pins distinguish a destination from its entrance or mainland departure.

Family and accessibility arrangements use official USTA visitor, ticket and accessibility guidance and MTA station/event guidance reviewed 19 October 2026. Programme-linked free admission refers to the completed 2026 Fan Week; paid admission is additional. Day durations, break frequency and family arrival margins are flexible editorial suggestions, not published opening hours or clinical advice. No future seat availability, assistance booking, quiet room, adult changing facility or certified gate-to-seat route is implied. Existing sourced place coordinates, 30 outdoor walks, accepted images and 17 saved trip templates are unchanged.

Fan Week admission and programme examples are edition-bound to the completed 2026 event. No 2027 sessions, registration availability, paid ticket prices or player appearances are created. Suggested arrival/day-plan times are editorial planning allowances, distinct from published gates and play. Costs reuse the guide’s editable concession allowances, shared food/drink/tax/tip calculation and October 2026 adult subway fare; full fares are used in the family example. Paid ticket costs remain separate until a checkout total is known.

Grounds navigation combines the official 2026 site and accessibility guidance with reviewed OpenStreetMap paths. Distances follow consecutive geographic source nodes. Estimated times use 65–45 metres per minute plus 1–3 minutes for orientation and ordinary pedestrian traffic. They exclude screening, queues, indoor circulation and seating. Mapped paths are outdoor approaches, not certified step-free itineraries; temporary barriers and staff instructions take priority.

US Open history and singles honour rolls reviewed 19 October 2026 against USTA records. Men’s coverage is 1881–2026; women’s is 1887–2026. These are champions lists, not complete draws or player entry lists. Historical source spellings are retained; alternative names are not merged into player identities. Scores, doubles, juniors and wheelchair honour rolls are outside this release.

The four court and seating guides were prepared on 18 October 2026 from current official seating-chart links, accessibility and admission pages, USTA stadium design reporting, the announced Ashe transformation and the Stadium 17 decking supplier’s project account. Historical design articles support permanent architecture, not current concessions or future session calendars. Baseline, side and corner recommendations and audience comparisons are editorial interpretation of the seating geometry; they are not surveyed sightline or shade guarantees. Armstrong’s current chart distinguishes general admission and reserved loge areas, so upper-concourse access is not treated as universally unreserved. Exact 2027 seat assignments, interior circulation and package inclusions follow the applicable seller’s plan and ticket. Existing coordinates, court geometry, entrances, mapped paths, ticket products, prices and accepted galleries are retained.

The first-visit match-day guide was prepared on 18 October 2026 using current official US Open mobile-entry, visit, accessibility, A–Z and transport pages, MTA’s stadium guide, and the existing hotel, venue, ticket and transit records. Ordinary routes and current policies support planning; actual session entry, 2027 stadium circulation, dated service, lift availability and event-ramp operation determine the journey. The day/evening plans are editorial sequences, not a published timetable. No new fares, departure times, court entitlements, pickup coordinates or hotel journey durations are introduced.

Match-day essentials use official organiser information and NYC heat advice available on 16 October 2026. The weather exchange document is explicitly the 2026 policy. Ticket-specific terms and event-day staff instructions take precedence; current source links are provided beside the relevant advice.

Activity prices and ordinary opening hours use current operator information reviewed 16 October 2026. Journey estimates use captured MTA daytime route runtimes with walking and transfer allowances; they are not live departures. Grand Central is the starting hub; Mets times start at the station, excluding the walk out of the grounds. Mainland ferry/tram approaches exclude boarding waits and crossings. Child ages, residency and pass concessions require individual selection.

Check the official order of play, ticket conditions and last transport home for your chosen day. Match finish times vary.
