## What’s open
*in Monaco.*

Make the most of your time in Monaco. Find reopened favourites, check temporary closures and head to the right address before setting out.

### Reopened and ready to visit

Reopened Jardin Exotique de Monaco

**Reopened 30 March 2026**, after being closed since 2020. Check current ticket options and visitor facilities before your trip.

Reopened Museum of Old Monaco

**Reopened in March 2026** after several years of renovation. Check admission details with the museum before visiting.

### Temporary closures

Closed Jardin Animalier (Rainier III Zoological Garden)

**Closed for all of 2026**, for cliff-safety consolidation and a modernisation ordered by Prince Albert II — described as its most ambitious transformation since it was created. Reopening is expected in 2027. Choose another stop if you are visiting with children this year.

Closed Naval Museum (Musée Naval de Monaco)

**Closed for refurbishment for an indefinite period**, and under the planned restructuring of the Terrasses de Fontvieille it must also leave the site. No relocation has been confirmed.

Closed Nouveau Musée National de Monaco — Villa Sauber

The museum has two villas and **only one is open**. Villa Paloma is operating; **Villa Sauber is closed** for renovation and extension with no published reopening date. Plan your visit around Villa Paloma’s current exhibition.

If you are planning around any of these, check the venue’s own site on the day. Allow a little flexibility in your itinerary.

### Moved

Moved The Prince’s Car Collection

**Moved in July 2022**, after nearly thirty years at the Terrasses de Fontvieille, to 54 route de la Piscine at Port Hercule in La Condamine. Head to Port Hercule for your visit.

### Plan around the programme

Check first Grimaldi Forum

The building operates normally, but **it has no opening hours of its own**. It is a venue, not an attraction: hours belong to whatever event is running, and between events much of it is closed to the public. Choose an event first, then check its opening and admission times.

### Tickets and seating

Choose your ticket for the places and performances you want to see.

Check first A combined Palace + Jardin Exotique ticket

Book the Palace separately. The Jardin Exotique’s combined ticket pairs the garden with the Oceanographic Museum.

Check first Salle Garnier seating

Seating varies by performance: 517 places with the orchestra pit in use and 569 without, plus 66 places in boxes and balconies. Use the seating plan for your chosen event.

The verdict

**Build your day around the places you most want to visit.** Check their opening times before setting out and keep an alternative nearby for any last-minute closure.

Keep deciding
