#### Add motorsport and fan experiences

Choose circuit simulators and fan activities within your ticket zone, follow the dated fan diary, or make K1 Speed Manacar a separate karting outing. Driver-stage times are still to be announced.

#### Choose your cultural day and Día de Muertos outing

**Saturday needs one afternoon choice.**The city parade departs at 14:00 on 31 October; F1 qualifying starts at 15:00. Choose one. The parade’s departure time is not its passage time at your viewing spot.

Make a museum visit the main event of a free day, then add a meal and a short outdoor stop. Bellas Artes and Templo Mayor fit a Centro day; Anthropology or the castle suits Chapultepec. Casa Azul needs its own timed reservation and Coyoacán transfer.

The Zócalo ofrenda runs from 29 October through 2 November and offers a separate festival outing. Confirm daily public access before travelling. Monday 2 November is an ofrenda option only if it is open and your departure allows it; the six museums in this collection normally close on Mondays, and the castle explicitly closes every Monday.

| Experience | Published dates | Plan your visit |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Grand Parade · Reforma towards the Zócalo | 31 October · departs 14:00 | Choose the parade or 15:00 qualifying. Viewing-point passage and finish times vary. |
| Zócalo monumental ofrenda | 29 October–2 November | Free public event. Daily opening, queues and entry lanes must be checked. |
| El Camino illumination · Ángel to Puerta de los Leones | 23 October–8 November | A separate outdoor evening choice. Switching-on times and access are to be confirmed. |
| Cempasúchil flower stalls · Ángel to Ahuehuete | 18 October–1 November | Check individual-stall hours. Purchases cost extra; do not cross an active procession. |
| Alebrije parade and Catrinas procession | 17 and 25 October respectively | Earlier-stay choices, outside the F1 weekend. |

A Centro museum day

Tuesday–Sunday: start at Bellas Artes after 10:00, leave a meal break, then reach Templo Mayor with time before its 17:00 closing. Continue to the Zócalo only if public access is open. Walking via Madero and the square is subject to daily cordons.

Chapultepec without rushing

Choose Anthropology or the castle as the principal museum. The castle adds an uphill park approach; leave time for lunch, the descent and travel before considering Reforma lights.

A shorter indoor or family choice

Choose Museo de Arte Popular or a small selection at Bellas Artes on Tuesday–Sunday. Galleries provide shelter, but entry queues and journeys may still be outdoors. Sunday museum free-entry rules differ: INAH national/resident concessions do not cover every overseas visitor.

Reserve Casa Azul first

Casa Azul sells timed admission online, with no door sales. Wednesday opens at 11:00. Plan a daytime Thursday reservation and confirm evening hours directly. An ordinary last-Wednesday Noche de Museos pattern does not confirm an October special event or spare capacity.

Respect a living tradition

Leave offerings untouched, ask permission before photographing people or personal memorials, and keep entry lanes clear. Community cemeteries are spaces of remembrance; avoid intrusive photography, loud behaviour or walking over graves.

Plan the return before the crowd

Check Metro and Metrobús service notices, road cordons and permitted crossings on the day. Agree a station or pickup outside restrictions, carry the hotel address and allow time for managed exits. No exact closure timetable or guaranteed late return is published here.

Dates do not establish daily opening hours. A saved stop does not reserve admission, a parade position or an accessible viewing space. Keep a museum or festival booking away from an uncertain circuit exit.

[Explore all eight cultural places →](<https://above.guide/mexico-f1/things-to-do#culture-and-day-of-the-dead>)[Choose the mapped Centro cultural day →](<https://above.guide/mexico-f1/things-to-do#cultural-day-centro>)[Find an indoor or family alternative →](<https://above.guide/mexico-f1/things-to-do#indoor-family-culture>)[Plan the Zócalo visit →](<https://above.guide/mexico-f1/things-to-do/zocalo-centro>)[Plan the Reforma outing →](<https://above.guide/mexico-f1/things-to-do/angel-independencia-reforma>)[Save your cultural stops →](<https://above.guide/mexico-f1/my-itinerary>)

#### Add one longer-stay day beyond the circuit

**Keep race days clear.**Teotihuacán and Xochimilco need substantial cross-city travel. Coyoacán is shorter, but Casa Azul still requires a timed ticket.

Choose Teotihuacán for archaeology, Nuevo Nativitas for a daylight trajinera ride, or Coyoacán for Casa Azul and a flexible market lunch. Each plan starts at a specific entrance, terminal or boarding point.

Allow for October sun and rain, confirm the day's transport and return before leaving, and keep specialist balloon flights outside the Teotihuacán plan unless you separately verify the operator, launch point and arrival instructions.

Teotihuacán by public bus

Use Terminal Central del Norte near Puerta 8, note Gate 2 on arrival and return to the same documented stop. Allow 7–9 hours door to door and plan food after leaving the archaeological zone.

Xochimilco from Nuevo Nativitas

Navigate to the exact dock, agree the boat route and duration before boarding, and read the official MXN 750 hourly tariff as a per-boat price. Food and music cost extra.

Coyoacán with a timed anchor

Reserve Casa Azul first, then walk to Mercado de Coyoacán for a flexible lunch. Use Tuesday–Sunday because the museum closes on Monday.

Keep the return usable

Confirm the final bus, public-transport connection or booked pickup before starting. Published opening hours do not guarantee a late return during race week.

A saved place does not reserve admission, transport, a boat or a meal. Check operating conditions and ticket terms on the day.

Inside the Mexico City guide

#### Thin mountain air, deafening stadium cheers, and ancient Aztec heritage.

At Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, choose between the main straight, technical sections and the Estadio GNP Seguros stadium. Compare central hotel bases and transport connections, then make room for Mexico City’s food and Day of the Dead celebrations around your race plans.

The circuit combines a long main straight, a technical middle section and the stadium sequence at Estadio GNP Seguros, also known to many fans as Foro Sol. Compare the view and seat cover for the named grandstand; a main-straight ticket and a hospitality package have different inclusions.

The circuit is in Magdalena Mixhuca in Iztacalco. Roma Norte, Condesa, Centro, Reforma and Polanco offer different hotel and evening options. Plan the connection from the exact hotel to the entrance on your ticket, including any interchange and final approach; proximity to a Metro line does not guarantee a direct journey.

Match the colour zone on your ticket to its gate before choosing a station. On Saturday 31 October, the city parade starts at 14:00 and F1 qualifying at 15:00. Choose one, and leave time for road restrictions and your return journey.

#### Which grandstand is best at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez: Foro Sol or Main Straight?

Gradas 14 and 15 face the stadium sequence and podium setting. Gradas 1 and 2 suit main-straight and pit-lane views, while the opening-complex stands offer different views of the early corners. Compare the named seat area and cover; podium location does not grant track entry or admission to another zone.

| A family circuit visit | Ask at an information module about the Kid’s Journey passport and the route available within your ticket area. Collection times and activity requirements should be confirmed on the day. |
| Paid karting away from the circuit | K1 Speed Manacar has separate adult and junior electric-kart tracks. Adult minimum height is 1.47 m; junior minimum is 1.20 m. Keep this for a free afternoon and confirm the current price and availability. |
| City fan events | No free city driver appearance is listed in this guide yet. Check for a dated public announcement before travelling; a competition entry or sponsor promotion is not a walk-in event. |

| A Centro museum day | Tuesday–Sunday: start at Bellas Artes after 10:00, leave a meal break, then reach Templo Mayor with time before its 17:00 closing. Continue to the Zócalo only if public access is open. Walking via Madero and the square is subject to daily cordons. |
| Chapultepec without rushing | Choose Anthropology or the castle as the principal museum. The castle adds an uphill park approach; leave time for lunch, the descent and travel before considering Reforma lights. |
| A shorter indoor or family choice | Choose Museo de Arte Popular or a small selection at Bellas Artes on Tuesday–Sunday. Galleries provide shelter, but entry queues and journeys may still be outdoors. Sunday museum free-entry rules differ: INAH national/resident concessions do not cover every overseas visitor. |
| Reserve Casa Azul first | Casa Azul sells timed admission online, with no door sales. Wednesday opens at 11:00. Plan a daytime Thursday reservation and confirm evening hours directly. An ordinary last-Wednesday Noche de Museos pattern does not confirm an October special event or spare capacity. |
| Respect a living tradition | Leave offerings untouched, ask permission before photographing people or personal memorials, and keep entry lanes clear. Community cemeteries are spaces of remembrance; avoid intrusive photography, loud behaviour or walking over graves. |
| Plan the return before the crowd | Check Metro and Metrobús service notices, road cordons and permitted crossings on the day. Agree a station or pickup outside restrictions, carry the hotel address and allow time for managed exits. No exact closure timetable or guaranteed late return is published here. |

### Home Faq

| Q | A |
| --- | --- |
| Which grandstand is best at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez: Foro Sol or Main Straight? | Gradas 14 and 15 face the stadium sequence and podium setting. Gradas 1 and 2 suit main-straight and pit-lane views, while the opening-complex stands offer different views of the early corners. Compare the named seat area and cover; podium location does not grant track entry or admission to another zone. |
| How much do Mexico City F1 2026 tickets cost? | MexicoGP lists some three-day tickets with purchase links and marks others sold out. Compare the named ticket in the planner, then confirm availability and final service charges with the seller. Grada 2A is a reserved grandstand, not roaming General Admission. Our budget totals are editable estimates; they do not reserve a seat or establish a current ticket price. |
| Does DPO include admission to the Mexico City Grand Prix? | No. DPO is a separate right to buy tickets for 2027 and 2028. You still need to purchase race admission, and the DPO charge is not deducted from the ticket price. Transfers and parking also require their own booking unless your package expressly includes them. |
| How do you get to the Mexico City Grand Prix using Metro Line 9? | Read your ticket’s entrance first, then compare Velódromo on the west, Ciudad Deportiva on the north and Puebla on the northeast. Grey and brown stadium tickets are directed toward Puerta 1 on the Palacio de los Deportes side. Metrobús and Trolebús provide other nearby connections; use the map to orient yourself and follow current event instructions. |
| How should I choose a Mexico City hotel base for F1? | Compare Roma Norte and Condesa for neighbourhood dining, Reforma and Centro for cultural outings, and Polanco for luxury hotel options. Check the exact hotel-to-gate connection and evening return. For a stay near the circuit, confirm the actual entrance approach and local services with the hotel. |
| How does Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) impact the race weekend? | The Grand Parade starts at 14:00 on Saturday 31 October, overlapping F1 qualifying at 15:00. Choose the parade or qualifying, and allow for road restrictions around Reforma and Centro. The Zócalo ofrenda runs from 29 October to 2 November and can be planned as a separate outing. |
| What should I check about shade and facilities before choosing a seat? | Check the named grandstand’s cover and facilities in your ticket zone. Gradas 1, 2, 10, 11 and 14 are described as partly covered, which does not guarantee shade for every seat. Confirm permitted items and assistance arrangements with the organiser before travelling. |
| Can spectators walk on the track after the Mexico City Grand Prix? | Do not assume track entry or access to the stadium from another zone. Follow the organiser’s race-day announcements and marshals’ instructions for your ticket area. Any post-race entertainment has its own access conditions; a grandstand ticket does not include paddock access. |
