Inside the Las Vegas guide

#### Pick your view, then plan the journey.

Formula 1 races past the Strip’s landmarks and around Sphere on Saturday night. Choose your viewing area first, then plan the hotel, station and final walk around your ticket zone.

The 6.201 km circuit links the pit complex, Koval Lane, Sphere and the Las Vegas Strip. Main Grandstand seats focus on the grid and pits; Koval and Sphere offer corner views, while West Harmon follows the final straight.

Choose a Monorail station near your ticket zone and allow time for the signed walk to your entrance. Premium packages may include their own transfers. Bring warm layers for the evening sessions.

Use the map to compare grandstands, gates and transport connections. East Harmon, Koval and West Harmon share fan-zone access, while reserved seats and hospitality require the matching ticket.

### Before you book Check hotel access and the total stay price

Road closures begin at 13:00 on 19–21 November. Confirm your hotel’s vehicle entrance, drop-off point and pedestrian route before booking an airport transfer. Being inside the circuit does not include a ticket or guarantee a track view.

Resort fees and tax

Compare the final stay total, including mandatory fees and taxes. Check what is prepaid and what is due at the hotel; rates and inclusions vary by property and offer.

Minimum nights

Check the stay requirement for your exact dates and room offer. Some race-week packages require several nights; there is no single minimum for every hotel.

Cancellation and deposits

Check the cancellation deadline, prepayment terms and incidental deposit before paying.

[Check road closures and Monorail entrance walks →](<https://above.guide/las-vegas-f1/getting-to-las-vegas>)

### Race viewing Can you watch Las Vegas F1 for free from a bridge?

Do not plan to watch from a public pedestrian bridge. Bridges are walking routes, and screens or barriers can block the view. Keep moving, follow stewards’ directions and use your ticketed viewing area.

Budget alternative

Check Ellis Island’s race-week offers. A watch party, its advertised Koval-side viewing area and an official circuit ticket are different products; check admission, availability and what each includes.

[Compare Sphere, Main Grandstand and standing tickets →](<https://above.guide/las-vegas-f1/circuit>)

### Before you leave your hotel Charge your phone and bring a power bank

Charge your phone before leaving and take a portable charger: your ticket, transport plans and evening photographs will all compete for battery. General spectator charging stations are not provided. Club Magenta has charging for eligible members and their guests; it is not a charging facility that every ticket holder can use.

Night sessions

Pack a warm base layer, an insulating layer, a windproof jacket, a hat and gloves. Check the forecast before leaving; exposed grandstands can feel much colder than the daytime Strip.

Bag

Clear tote/backpack up to 12 × 6 × 12 in, or a non-clear small handbag/fanny pack up to 6 × 9 in. Diaper bags are permitted when attending with an infant, subject to screening.

Water

Empty plastic or silicone bottle up to 24 oz. Refill stations are available; leave sealed water, metal vessels and hydration packs behind.

Photos

Bring a point-and-shoot camera if you wish. Leave detachable-lens cameras, selfie sticks, tripods, monopods and GoPro mounts at the hotel.

Leave behind

Umbrellas, strollers, chairs, stools and seat cushions.

Mobility-device charging remains available at Accessibility Services tents. Bring the required cords and accessories.

| Q | A |
| --- | --- |
| Why is the Las Vegas Grand Prix held on Saturday night instead of Sunday? | The Saturday-night start showcases the Strip after dark and puts the race on Sunday morning in much of Europe. The 2026 Grand Prix starts at 20:00 PST on Saturday 21 November. |
| How much do Las Vegas F1 2026 tickets cost? | Compare official single-day and three-day offers. T-Mobile and Flamingo have standing options; Main, Koval, Sphere and West Harmon have reserved seats. Hospitality is sold separately. |
| Which grandstand is best at the Las Vegas Grand Prix: Sphere vs Main Grandstand? | Choose Sphere for chicane views and live music, or the Main Grandstand for the grid and pit lane. Turn 3 and Heineken seats follow the Koval approach; West Harmon faces the final straight. |
| What is the weather like during the Las Vegas GP and what should you wear? | Prepare for cold evenings in exposed seating. Bring a warm base layer, an insulating layer, a windproof jacket, a hat and gloves. Check the forecast for your session; daytime temperatures do not tell you how the grandstands will feel after dark. |
| What is the best way to get around the Strip during F1 race weekend? | Take the Monorail to the station nearest your ticket zone, then follow the signed entrance walk. Continuous service runs from 07:00 on 17 November to 03:00 on 23 November 2026. Allow for queues and walking time; the Monorail does not serve the airport. |
| Can you watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix for free from pedestrian bridges or sidewalks? | Do not rely on public bridges for a race view. Ellis Island advertises a free Koval viewing area; its Beer Garden watch party and official circuit ticket packages are separate offers. |
| Can spectators walk on the track after the Las Vegas Grand Prix? | Only enter the track if event staff open a designated crossing or viewing area and invite spectators through. |
